Staying Well Worker (Personalised Cancer Support)
Full Time (37.5hrs/wk)
Salary: Both roles are based on £28,235 pa (pro-rata for the Project Co-ordinator role)
Reporting to: Executive Director
This is an exciting time for our long-running Staying Well project.
Following a successful procurement exercise we are starting a new contract for delivering Staying Well across the Upper Calder Valley which we expect to run until 2029 and we are recruiting a new permanent Staying Well Project Co-ordinator role to assist the Executive Director and to support the wider Staying Well team to ensure we deliver our new role effectively.
In addition we are recruiting for a new Personalised Cancer Support Worker funded until December 2027 to join the Staying Well team and provide personalised information, advice and support for people affected by cancer across the Upper Calder Valley. This is part of a Calderdale-wide project: our Staying Well project partners North Halifax Partnership and Halifax Opportunities Trust are also recruiting to the same roles in their areas of operation.

Interviews for the Personalised Cancer Support Worker will be held on Monday 9th December - our interviews are being supported on this date by the Macmillan Community Personalised Care Lead from the West Yorkshire & Harrogate Cancer Alliance Team. A disclosure and barring service check will be completed for this role.
Interviews for the Staying Well Project Co-ordinator will be held on Tuesday 10th December
