Hebden Bridge Community Association really values your support
The Town Hall, Hebden Bridge is one of a handful of community-owned Town Halls in the UK and is a symbol of what a community can do when it pulls together with a common ambition and vision. We receive no grant funding and we are proud to generate 95% of funds through traded income, but this isn't enough to allow us to achieve everything we’d like to do to enable the local community to thrive.
We regularly bid for regional and national additional funding for specific projects - successful examples of this include ‘Power to Change’ and the’ Architectural Heritage Fund'. To help with these bids, we need to demonstrate ‘locally rooted’ support. We achieve this through our membership.

Our members are interested in the community around them because community matters to them.
They are people like you, your friends, and your neighbours and they support our focus on the ongoing regeneration and economic development of Hebden Bridge and our vision to offer a range of subsidised services and events to enable the local community to thrive.

Any individual or organisation can join our membership, you do not have to live in Hebden Bridge.

It doesn't cost anything to be a member.

As well as the warm and fuzzy feeling you’ll get knowing that your membership is supporting your local community, as a member you will receive our mailings about our activities, be invited to member events, and get priority notice for large events. You will also be invited to Annual General Meetings and all the other rights and responsibilities detailed in our Constitution along with limited liability.

- Buy a coffee or stop by for lunch in our cafe - you’ll be supporting us.
- Attend an event or group meeting at the Town Hall - you’ll be supporting us.
- Every time you use one of our amazing business tenants - you are supporting us.
- Post a picture from a visit or an event, tag us and comment something nice - you are helping us to reach more people and spread the message about who we are and what we do.
