Andy’s Man Club: Mondays 7pm – 9pm in The Terrace Room.
A judgment-free, confidential space where men can be open about the storms in their lives. Free peer-to-peer support for men over 18. Drop-in session. Free tea and coffee. Every Monday except Bank holidays. Contact Andrew.

The Artist's Way: Mondays 7pm – 9pm in The Space.
A course in creativity with writer Anna Chilvers, using the book The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron. 12-week course, Mondays except for half-term.

Hebden Bridge WI: Monday 17th, 7pm for 7.30pm in the Waterfront Hall.
A character-filled, vibrant and diverse group of women of all ages, sexualities, ethnicities, abilities, and backgrounds. Meetings are usually on the 3rd Monday of the month. Free to members and £5 for guests. Contact Val through Facebook.

18th Hebden Bridge Scouts: Tuesdays 6pm – 8pm in the Waterfront Hall.

Slimming World: Wednesdays from 5.15pm in the Waterfront Hall.
Weekly weigh-in, slimming advice, and group support. £5.95 per week. Wednesday evenings, year-round. Contact Claire.

Pilates: Wednesdays 1.30pm - 2.30pm in the Waterfront Hall.
Suitable for all abilities (modification to exercises given where required) and beginners are welcome. £7 a session, please pre-book.

Swing Dance: Wednesdays from 7.15pm in the Waterfront Hall.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Hebden Bridge Literary and Scientific Society Talk: Saturday 8th, 7.30pm - 9.00pm in the Waterfront Hall.
The Social Determinants of Health and Health Equity with Sir Michael Marmot. Due to the train strike, the lecture will now be via Zoom and relayed to the Waterfront Hall. Sir Michael Marmot will answer questions from the audience afterwards. Tickets.

Out in the Valley Community Quilt Presentation: Tuesday 11th, from 1pm in the Waterfront Hall.
Free event for National Coming Out Day, including speeches, choir and quilt unveiling at 7pm. Contact Out in the Valley.

WI Rag Market: Saturday 15th, 10.30am - 4pm in the Waterfront Hall.
Stalls selling fabric and textiles at the Town Hall, Northlight Gallery and Word of Mouth. £1 entry on the door. More information.

Restart a Heart Day - Learn CPR: Saturday 15th, 11am - 1pm in Reception.
Free CPR and AED training drop-in sessions. Provided by Amy from Splat Training.

Sylvia Plath Literary Festival: Friday 21st - Sunday 23rd, various rooms.
The first festival, with events scheduled around Hebden Bridge, including poetry brunch, book launch, art exhibition, and much more. Tickets are available for single events or weekend passes.

The Great Pumpkin Festival: Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd, the Waterfront Hall and Courtyard.
Free pumpkin carving in the courtyard and the pumpkin trail starts in the Hall. This year’s theme is ‘Back to the Future’. Timings tbc.

Heroica Theatre Company: Margaret Morris - Inspirations: Fri 28th, 7.30pm in the Waterfront Hall.
A rehearsed reading of Anna Carlisle’s new play, Margaret Morris: Inspirations. Tickets are £10 including a glass of wine.

Arvon Live Writing Day: Sunday 30th, 10am - 4pm.
Writing the Gothic with Natasha Pulley and Beth Underdown. Tickets are £75 for the day (£35 concessions), including lunch.
